Dr. DeCotiis is board certified in Internal Medicine, Allergy and Immunology. He is Section Chief of Allergy and Immunology at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and retains privileges at Monmouth Medical Center, Ocean Medical Center and Community Medical Center.
He completed his allergy training at Brown University/Rhode island Hospital where he served as a teaching and research fellow. He has participated as a Principal Investigator in over 150 clinical studies evaluating new testaments for Allergic and Immunologic diseases. He is a perennial Top Doc in NJ Monthly and is actively involved in educating physicians, residents and medical students about Allergic and Immunologic diseases. He prides himself in diagnosing less common presentations of Allergic & Immunologic disease.
Dr.DeCotiis has five children, four of whom are physicians and one of them is currently the Research Coordinator of Ocean Allergy and Respiratory Research.
Dr. DeCotiis treats patients in all three locations : Brick, Wall and Toms River.
