Chirag PatelMDDr. Chirag Patel is a board-certified physician in the field of allergy and clinical immunology. He is an active member of the American College of asthma, allergy, and immunology.
Dr. Patel completed his residency in internal medicine at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, where his research focused on treating sepsis and complement Immunology. Dr. Patel was also elected intern of the year during his time at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Afterward, he worked as Core faculty before moving to North Carolina for fellowship.
Dr. Patel completed his fellowship in allergy and clinical immunology at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. At the University of North Carolina, Dr. Patel's research focused on food allergies which included peanut immunotherapy and alpha-gal syndromes. Consequently, his special interest lies in food allergy-related diseases such as Food allergies, Food allergy prevention, Alpha gal allergy, and eosinophilic esophagitis. Additionally, he is well-versed in managing hives, Immunodeficiencies, asthma, and sinus disease.

Bruce A. DeCotiisMDDr. DeCotiis founded our practice in 1980. He completed his training at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital. He served as a research and teaching fellow. He is the Section Chief of Allergy and Immunology at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and retains staff privileges at Monmouth Medical Center, Community Medical Center, Ocean Medical Center, Jersey shore University Medical Center and Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus. He currently splits his time between seeing patients and doing clinical research.
He has participated as a Principal Investigator in over 200 clinical research studies, evaluating new treatments for allergic and immunologic diseases many of which have since been approved by the FDA and are household names in the treatment of Nasal Allergies, Asthma, Skin Allergies, and Food Allergies. He is a perennial Top Doc in New Jerseys monthly magazine and is actively involved in educating Physicians, Residents, Medical Students, and Nurses about AIIer8ic and Immunologic Diseases. He prides himself in diagnosing less common presentations of allergic and Immunologic Diseases.
Dr. DeCotiis has five children four of whom are medical doctors and one who is the lead research coordinator of Ocean Allergy and Respiratory Research, an affiliate of the practice. This affiliation makes treatment modalities available to patients that would not be ordinarily available to them.
Stephanie P. Giles, APN-CStephanie Giles is an Advanced Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in allergy, asthma, and clinical immunology. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. She went on to earn her Master's in Nursing at Monmouth University in Long Branch, NJ. She holds national board certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has 13 years of experience.
Lisa Wydra APN, FNP-CLisa Wydra, APN, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in asthma, allergies, and clinical immunology. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Delaware, Magna Cum Laude. She practiced as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department, Interventional Radiology, and Maternal Fetal Medicine at Christiana Hospital, The Valley Hospital, and Hackensack Meridian Hospitals for 13 years.
In 2009, she graduated with a 4.0 from the Rutgers University Family Nurse Practitioner program with a Master of Science. She then became a part-time lecturer at Rutgers University. Since 2010, Mrs. Wydra has practiced as a family nurse practitioner in family medicine, psychiatry, and urgent care, treating adult and pediatric patients with acute and chronic illnesses. She takes great pride in building relationships with her patients and using a holistic approach to healing.
Mrs. Wydra grew up in Ocean County and spends her free time relaxing at the Jersey Shore and hiking throughout the beautiful wetlands and mountains of New Jersey. She also loves spending time with her husband, two children, and three dogs.
