Dr. Chirag Patel

Dr. Chirag Patel is a board-certified physician in the field of allergy and clinical immunology. He is an active member of the American College of Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology.
Dr. Patel completed his residency in internal medicine at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, where his research focused on treating sepsis and complement Immunology. Dr. Patel was also elected intern of the year during his time at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Afterward, he worked as Core faculty before moving to North Carolina for a fellowship.
Dr. Patel completed his fellowship in allergy and clinical immunology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. At the University of North Carolina, Dr. Patel's research focused on food allergies, which included peanut immunotherapy and alpha-gal syndromes. Consequently, his special interest lies in food allergy-related diseases such as Food allergies, Food allergy prevention, Alpha gal allergy, and eosinophilic esophagitis. Additionally, he is well-versed in managing hives, Immunodeficiencies, asthma, and sinus disease.

Dr. Edward Fernandez

Dr. Edward Fernandez earned his medical degree from Cooper Medical School of Rowan University and completed his internal medicine residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. After his residency, he relocated to Nashville, TN to pursue an allergy and immunology fellowship at Vanderbilt University. During his fellowship, he was awarded the Sam Marney Award for Excellence in Allergy/Immunology.
Dr. Fernandez has led several research studies on adverse drug and vaccine reactions, with his findings presented at the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology meeting. He won the best abstract in the drug allergy interest section. Dr. Fernandez is passionate about all aspects of practicing allergy and immunology, with special interests in treating allergic rhinitis, severe asthma, and adverse drug reactions. A native of South Jersey, Dr. Fernandez enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and visiting the beach.

Lisa Wydra, APN, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in Asthma, Allergies, and Clinical Immunology. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Delaware, Magna Cum Laude. She practiced as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department, Interventional Radiology, and Maternal Fetal Medicine at Christiana Hospital, The Valley Hospital, and Hackensack Meridian Hospitals for 13 years.
In 2009, she graduated with a 4.0 from the Rutgers University Family Nurse Practitioner program with a Master of Science. She then became a part-time lecturer at Rutgers University. Since 2010, Mrs. Wydra has practiced as a family nurse practitioner in family medicine, psychiatry, and urgent care, treating adult and pediatric patients with acute and chronic illnesses. She takes great pride in building relationships with her patients and using a holistic approach to healing.
Mrs. Wydra grew up in Ocean County and spends her free time relaxing at the Jersey Shore and hiking throughout the beautiful wetlands and mountains of New Jersey. She also loves spending time with her husband, two children, and three dogs.
